K-12

According to Goochland Public Schools blogs sets an excellent example for how students can communicate effectively with emerging communication tools, such as a website or weblogs. This particular school systen as a whole feels that blogs help with effective communication skills whuch is required throughout a students education. Blogging also helps teachers with providing easy to use tools that keeps not only the students but the parents informed with classroom and school news. I also found interesting that at these particular school when students use laptops or a computer lab, they can easily visit sites the teacher has directed students to visit through the weblog. As an added benefit, parents at home can also visit the same website and reinforce Internet-based content at home.

I found one this particular website interesting because it told different ways to incorporate technology in the classrooms. It used certain examples such as cell phone use, teachers sent homework assignment through via text. However, Princeton review the test preparation company sends practice SAT questions and drills to students on their cell phone. Parents can also retrieve the results from those results as well. It also talked about free online homework help that I feel is very beneficial.
